We had the pleasure of staying at a charming farmhouse for a weekend retreat. The Blue Room was cozy and comfortable, providing a peaceful and quiet atmosphere to wake up to the soothing sounds of birds and lambs. The owner was incredibly friendly, ensuring that our stay was nothing short of amazing. The full English breakfast was a delight, and we even received a sweet Easter surprise. The farmhouse itself was elegantly decorated, with spacious rooms and high ceilings that added to its charm. We also enjoyed the safe off-road parking and the convenience of being a short walk away from a great pub. our experience at Whitchurch Farm was exceptional, and we would definitely return again.

We stayed at this charming guesthouse during our trekking adventure and what a gem it turned out to be! the location is absolutely stunning, with beautiful surroundings and views of lambs frolicking in the fields. the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a much-needed rest after a long day of trekking. the service was impeccable, with the friendly host making us feel welcome and going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast that fueled us for our trekking excursions.
The interior and bedroom decor could use a bit of updating, but it didn't detract from our overall enjoyable experience.

New Year Getaway
The location was fantastic, surrounded by beautiful countryside and peaceful surroundings. It was the perfect getaway for the New Year. the farmhouse had a lot of character and was warm and cozy, making it a comfortable stay. the farmhouse also had interesting features that added to its charm.
The room cleanliness was a bit lacking, with grubby paintwork and an outdated shower cubicle that needed some attention. the extra charge for breakfast was also disappointing, especially when there are cheaper dining options available nearby.

We stayed at this charming guesthouse for a weekend getaway. The location was perfect, nestled in a peaceful rural hamlet with lovely walks nearby. The spacious room was well-furnished, featuring a comfortable four-poster bed and a clean, fully-functioning bathroom. The attentive hostess made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to accommodate us. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast, with sausages made from home-reared pigs and homemade preserves. We also enjoyed the beautiful garden, perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea.
Some issues with taxi services not willing to pick up or drop off at the nearby restaurant.

I recently stayed at the charming Whitchurch Farm Guesthouse for a relaxing countryside getaway. The historic surroundings, complete with ancient church and prehistoric settlement, were a highlight. The owner's knowledge of the local area added to the experience. The self-service breakfast, catered for gluten-free diets, was a bonus and the Blue Room provided a cozy retreat. The peacefulness, waking up to birdsong and the sounds of lambs, was delightful. The full English breakfast and the Easter treats were delicious. The owner's friendliness and willingness to assist made the stay even better. I would definitely return.
Would recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was delicious, with fresh ingredients and a variety of options to choose from. The location was perfect for us, with the peaceful surroundings providing a relaxing atmosphere. We loved being away from the city noise and enjoying the tranquility of the countryside. The views from our room were stunning, adding to the charm of the whole experience.
That there were no nearby shops or restaurants within walking distance. However, this was easily overcome by taking a short drive to the nearby town where there were plenty of dining options available.
